Our production line method of building allows for strict supervision, assuring you the finest quality home, whilst saving on material wastage and minimizing the impact on the environment.

What is a transportable home?

Transportable homes are houses built in a factory environment as opposed to being built on site. Typically they are constructed from timber, steel, plaster, weatherboard and other materials which are not easily damaged during the moving process. Unlike a site built home, transportable homes are usually not built from bricks or concrete. Transportable modular homes are permanent homes and not to be confused with mobile homes. Once delivered to your site, they are placed as per the plan, on foundations and connected to services.

How do transportable homes compare to site built homes?

The advantages of transportable homes mainly relate to the cost and time required to complete the home. They also offer other benefits such as being more environmentally friendly to build and having the flexibility to build in areas with labour shortages such as mining towns and remote areas.
